Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Remopivo collects, why, and what we do with it. Remopivo is a service operated by HPCI Incorporated ("we", "us", "HPCI"). If you have questions, write to info@hpci.us.

The short version

• We collect only what the service needs to run: your account details and the health readings of the computers you choose to monitor.
• We do not see the content of your remote sessions. They are encrypted end-to-end; when a session passes through our relay, it passes as encrypted bytes we cannot read.
• We do not sell or share your personal information, and we run no advertising or analytics trackers.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we store your name, email address, company name, and (optionally) phone number. Your password is never stored in readable form — only a one-way hash (bcrypt).

Computer inventory and health readings

For each computer you add to your panel, we store an identifier and a label you choose. If you install our monitoring agent, it reports the following about every 30 minutes, and we keep only the most recent reading (each new report overwrites the last):

• Operating system name and version, and how long the computer has been running.
• Processor model, core count and usage; memory used and total; disk free and total.
• Antivirus status and the number of pending system updates.

The agent reports these readings only. It does not grant remote access and does not capture the screen.

Technical and usage data

To run the service securely we record IP addresses (at sign-in, in agent reports, and during sessions), browser type, session tokens, and an audit log of key actions on your account (sign-ins, adding or removing computers, team changes).

Quick support

When someone uses Quick Support, we briefly hold a one-time connection code, a temporary session password, and the computer's name so a technician can connect. These expire automatically after 15 minutes.

Cookies

We use only first-party, functional cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to protect forms against forgery, and one to remember your language. We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use the information above to provide and secure the service, show you the health of your computers, connect you to them, prevent abuse, and reply when you contact us. We do not use it for advertising and do not profile you.

Remote sessions are private

Remote connections are encrypted end-to-end between the two computers. When a connection cannot go directly and routes through our relay server, the relay forwards encrypted data it cannot interpret. We do not record your remote sessions and cannot see what happens inside them.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for others' marketing. We rely on a small number of service providers to run Remopivo, and share only what each needs to do its job:

• Contabo — hosts our servers.
• Cloudflare — manages our domain name (DNS).
• Zoho Mail — sends our transactional emails (password resets, contact replies).

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the service.

How long we keep it

• Account data: for as long as your account is active.
• Health readings: only the latest one per computer.
• Sign-in sessions: expire automatically; quick codes after 15 minutes.
• Audit records: kept for security and troubleshooting.

When you close your account, we delete the associated data, except where we must keep records to meet legal obligations.

How we protect it

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Traffic is encrypted with TLS. Each organization's data is isolated from every other's. We apply session protection, request limits, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, write to info@hpci.us. California residents can also read our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information notice.

Children

Remopivo is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let account holders know.
